Developing County Durham’s cultural workforce – join the conversation! (2)

Culture Durham has a growing ambition to put culture at the heart of regeneration across the county. The partnership now wants to lead a county wide conversation that will help the cultural workforce to shape ideas to take this ambition forward. If you work in culture in the county – as a freelancer or in a cultural organisation – we’re inviting you to join the conversation through a series of hour-long, online events taking place in February 2024.

How can we grow a highly skilled, knowledgeable, diverse workforce with clear development pathways and support? How can the freelance cultural community be best supported to be more connected and resilient? What training, networking and development opportunities will work for those already working in the sector, and how do we build knowledge and pathways towards a more inclusive workforce for the future?

We want to hear your ideas about what works and can be scaled up, and what’s missing and is needed to move our sector forward.
