Cultivate Commissions – Year One Evaluation Report

Year one of Into the Light’s Cultivate Commissions is complete. The project has been carefully tended, supporting creative practitioners to work with, and alongside communities in County Durham, to increase participation in arts and creative activity, cultivating a positive impact. It’s led by No More Nowt and Northern Heartlands. This evaluation report illustrates how seeds have grown and will be used to inform future delivery of the project.

Cultivate Commissions is one of eight projects that form the Into the Light Durham Place Partnership Programme. Into the Light is a place-based creative collaboration that drives long-lasting growth in County Durham. It cultivates talent, widens access to creative education, enhances the skills of the cultural workforce, and breaks down barriers to working in the creative industries.
